I can’t say I disagree. I switched to a desktop full-time back in 2010 before Thunderbolt became known, and that was only because I hated having to upgrade my entire laptop whenever the graphics card fell out of date (which was often).

Now with Thunderbolt, I might just be in the market for a new MacBook Pro.
