Mostly, what I see wrong with this post is that it calls out the “iPod”. I know for a fact that my 30GB iPod 5G doesn’t have these problems. I just make sure an album appears in my iTunes library, plug my iPod in, and within a minute, it’s all there.
Really, what needs to happen is that the headline for this post needs to be changed to “Hey Apple, why does it take an hour to put an album on an iOS device?”, because the iPod line (sans the touch) do not suffer from this problem.
On top of that, don’t get me started on DoubleTwist. I love the software, don’t get me wrong, but DoubleTwist takes FOREVER to sync music to my Evo Shift. And this is without the backup process taking place. (AirSync takes so long it’s not worth the trouble.)
