I can’t believe it’s because “the smartphone in your pocket takes good video.”

I have an Evo Shift. I’ve had an Evo. I’ve also had an Epic and an iPhone 4. And out of all of those, I think I can only say the iPhone 4 has a camera good enough to rival the Flip’s.

Like, whenever I get into a situation that’s even remotely low-light, my Evo’s video feed will go from smooth video, to a slideshow. Not a very good video camera unless you’re in really bright light, which was one of the Flip’s strengths.

All in all, a sad tale.
